I have been a real estate broker for 26 years now and I feel very fortunate to have found a career that makes me look forward to going to work every day; the first time I presented a young family with the keys to their new home I knew this career was for me, plus you never stop learning in this business and it is always interesting. Prior to becoming a realtor I worked as a Certified Real Estate Appraiser here in Southern California for eight years. I have appraised and estimated value for all types of property including condominiums, vacant land, income property, mixed use commercial property and ocean front property in Malibu. That experience has helped me to inform my clients of the true market value of the homes they are either about to sell or buy and suggest improvements to increase the value of their homes. Along with an affinity for negotiation, that background has given me very satisfied buyers and sellers and frankly, a leg up on my competition. Although the majority of my business is residential homes (including probate & trust sales), I have also been successful in with selling commercial real estate and a registered agent with my company's commercial division. It has also helped me to consistently earn the Berkshire Hathaway prestigious “Chairman's Circle Gold” award representing the top 2% for sales production in California and nationwide for our company. In addition,  I received the prestigious designation  for the "Top 100 Agents for Production and Transactions" for 2023 and "Top 100 Agents for Production in 2024".

I am also a committed member of the Valley Glen Neighborhood Association and served as its President for three terms. In this capacity, I am very involved in all areas of our community. I fight for the concerns and needs of the families in our community to improve our quality of life. Listening to the people of the neighborhood and figuring out solutions to those concerns has been extremely satisfying to me. 

I am originally from Oregon and still visit once or twice a year to get in some good fishing and snowmobiling. My hobbies include golf (more of an obsession, I think), physical fitness, skeet shooting, travel and time with family and friends. Real estate is my career and my passion; the more you learn in this business, the more you realize there is to learn. I feel so very fortunate to have a career that is always interesting and that energizes me.
